How Does WildBlue Work?
WildBlue links your computer to the internet with a high-speed connection via one of WildBlue's two satellites. Your WildBlue equipment connects your home or small office at speeds much faster than a dial-up connection, in fact, file transfer speeds can be as much as 30 times faster than dial-up. A single 26" satellite mini-dish and a modem is all you need.

A "threshold" is the amount of data that you can upload or download in a 30-day period before WildBlue's Fair Access Policy may reduce your speeds. Typically these thresholds affect less than 3% of our customers and help ensure optimum performance for all WildBlue customers.
